A little more about Patty
Patty Falck has always had a love for art, color, and the little details that make a house feel like home.
With a background in art, textiles, and color theory from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Patty has spent much of her life surrounded by creativity. After almost two decades in art education, in 1996 she opened the original TaDa store in downtown Berlin, Maryland, bringing together her love of art, home, and design. Over the years, that creative journey evolved, but painting remained a constant.
Inspired by life near the coast, Patty’s work includes everything from waves, oysters, and octopuses to original paintings and custom portraits of beloved pets. Her love of animals and appreciation for their unique personalities make pet portraits a particularly meaningful part of her work.
Beyond the canvas these days, she’s enjoying a new chapter with more time to paint, explore new ideas, and spend time with her grandsons.
Whether she’s painting a familiar coastal scene or capturing the personality of someone’s four-legged family member, Patty enjoys creating artwork that feels personal and brings a little joy into someone’s home.
